7 Mother-F*cking Ages

Well, you see. There’s this game. It’s called 7 Ages. Its a board
game that takes probably 20 hours to play start to finish, which has
only happened once in the time I’ve played - that is finishing…

Its fun for about 3 hours at a time, tops. After that you kind of want
to gouge your eyes out, which would actually feel nice if you forget to
take out your contacts before leaving for the game, like I did.

The thing is, the other players like to play from 6pm (that’s me leaving
straight from work) till 11pm. Throw in the fact that they are
extremely competitive and a little bit whiney when losing and you have a
less than pleasant experience. Additionally the game pretty much goes
the same everytime. Someone starts doing well and everyone thumps them
hard. So its basically the king maker who always wins, they swoop in at
the last and capitalize on strategic opportunities. This means my Dad,
basically.

The good news is that when we started I wisely only commited my Tuesdays
through the end of January. Which left me available to bail. This is
doubly beneficial since the guild that I will likely be joining, raids
Molten Core on Tuesdays.
That’s a whole nother development. (Can I use ‘nother’ like that? I
mean…I say it…)

I finally posted on the Hunter’s Network forums today telling them that
I would be pulling Leafwind out of the guild so that I could join
another and do the end game raiding content. I haven’t read any
responses as of yet, but I don’t forsee any pettiness. And if they
are…oh well. I’m the one paying $15 a month - I would like to play all
the game not just 2/3’s of it.

There are some wedding developments by the way, check <a
