Oh my God…

I just spent the last 20 minutes writing a post for my blog and
accidentally selected Cancel Message instead of Edit Text.
Man…it was really good too. So instead I’m going to do some thought
images. Think these things and you’ll be able to viualize the post that
is now lost somewhere in the Twisting Nether:

Overwhelemd
Forgot Book
Can’t Write Paper
Bean Burrito
Cafe Latte
Stomach Ache
Need to Mellow
Corny Keanu Flick

How was that? Pretty good Metablogging.

Acts Class

Well here I am. Just finished the first Exam. Wasn’t that bad. Would
have better had I done the reading homework and not missed 1.5 classes.

We’re going to be watching a film in here now so I will be bored most
likely. Wish I had brought my iPod.

Tomorrow’s schedule of hell:
730-230 Work
230-300 Drive
300-415 Class
415-600 Paper Writing
600-840 Class
840-930 NOTHING (most likely homework)
930-1030 Biola Info Tech Society (BITS)

The upside to all this is that at this, the first of the BITS meetings,
they will be raffeling off a brand new iPod Nano and a bunch of iTunes
Gift Certificates. I hope I win.

Patch notes for WoW Patch 1.7 noted:

“Moving erratically will longer nullify Onyxia’s Confuse attack.”

Or as I would have put it, “Running around acting confused will no
longer fool Onyxia.”

Marky and I were having a great conversation based around some Beatles Trivia.
The question is, “What was the first Beatles song to use a real person’s name in the lyrics.”

Here is the conversation that ensued.

Mark: so…who was that girl?
for the beatles trivia
because i went through all of mid-beatles and was getting into latter-beatles
i dont know
Jonathan: who said it was a girl?
Mark: you did
you said what girl
Jonathan: i never ever did
i said a real person’s name
Mark: YES YOU DID!!!!!
Jonathan: no i did not
Mark: HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I THOUGHT YOU MENT GIRL!!!!!!!!!!11
Jonathan: if i know the answer why would i say a girl
Mark: dang it
Jonathan: you assumed that
because the beatles sing a lot of love songs
Mark: well DONT TELL ME!!
Jonathan: ahahahah
Mark: NOW i have to go through the list AGAIN
Jonathan: Sarah knows.
Mark: damn i hate you
Jonathan: hahaha
good times
Mark: sarah is omnipotent though…
Jonathan: want the album?
Mark: no
mid beatles?
Jonathan: list the albums you would consider to be mid beatles.
Mark: Revovler and after
revolver*
aside: have you seen corpse bride yet?
Jonathan: what falls in there
aside: not yet
Mark: ummm
lemme check
revolver, sgt pepper, magical mystery tour, white album, abbey road, let it be
Jonathan: yes it falls in that list.
Mark: hold on..lemme actually check this time, i just thought of them, i might miss one
oh it is in that list?
okay cool
AWESOME!!! I REMEMBERD ALL THE RELEASES!!
oh wait
….The Beatles Yellow Submarine: Nothing is Real
i thought that wasn’t a real like..album album…
Jonathan: nope not it
the question is:
let me rephrase
What is the first Beatle’s song to include the name of a real life person.
Mark: what? i didnt try to answer?
Jonathan: oh, i thought you were saying the song name yellow sub
Mark: no no, i was tlaking about the album Yellow Submarine: Nothing is Real
Jonathan: aha
speaking french with sarah is interesting
Mark: speaking french period is interesting
megan is picking it up a little sorta
Doctor Robert?
Jonathan: megan is taking french?
Mark: no
she’s just learning little bits from the internet and her friend from work speaks it, so he teaches her little thigns
what aobut Doctor Robert?
Jonathan: cool beans. but doctor robert is wrong.
Mark: Mr. Kite is fictitios
Jonathan: may be a real person, not sure, but it’s not the corerct answer non-the-less.
Mark: but you said “What is the first Beatle’s song to include the name of a real life person.” and if it IS areal person. then YES it is the answer
Jonathan: no, the FIRST
the correct answer may be before.
you’re weird
Mark: oh…so SOMEONE BEFORE DR ROBERT!!!
Jonathan: i SAID MAY
i dont know
Mark: BUT HOW CAN THE RIGHT ANSWER BE AFTER DR ROBERT IF HE IS REAL?!?!?
are you suureeee you know your question?
Jonathan: GOD MARKYMark: hahahahahah
Jonathan: DR ROBERTS IS NOT THE ANSWER
Mark: well..taxman sorta
what about the tax man
no thats not THE NAME
of a person
Jonathan: remember we’re talking song lyrics not song title
Mark: yeah, well, Tax man is i the lyrics too dude
Jonathan: Taxman isn’t a real persons name, marky.
Mark: i know, i already said that
no thats not THE NAME of a person
Billy Shears?
Jonathan: nope
Mark: alfjlasfjdlafjdlatjlakgjalk

Jonathan: that would’t help, methinks. welll…not with the guessing anyways. may help other things.

I love the sound of thunder. I just do.

Thunder is the sound of the shockwave caused when lightning instantly heats the air around it to up to 30 000 °C (54 000 °F). That super-heated air expands rapidly, then contracts as it cools. The rapid expansion/contraction generates sound waves, making the sound that is called “thunder.”

Because sound and light travel at different speeds through the atmosphere, one can time the interval between them to roughly estimate how far away the bolt of lightning is. The speed of sound in air is approximately 340 m/s (761 mph), while the speed of light is so fast that the lightning is seen only a few microseconds after the event, so the lightning is approximately one kilometre distant for every 3 second interval (one mile for every 5 seconds).

Polytheistic peoples in areas with much thunder, or areas where thunder precedes drought-breaking rain, may postulate a thunder god.

School sucks. Wikipedia rules.
