…and I miss Sarah soooo much. She’s out of town.
I remember now why I hate this game - boring and aggravating. This will
be the last time I play for a while. I’d way rather be playing WoW,
especially now that I’m almost level 57 and my guild runs into BRD
several times a day.
Andy and I (perhaps Dave and Marky too) are hanging out on Wednesday
night. Ye Olde Ship for fish and chips and b33r. Should be full of
carousing (always wanted to use that word).
Beh. I also ordered my new iPod! 20gb, full color screen baby. I had a
cool quote inscribed on the back too. Fun stuff. So I stayed up till
2:30 in the morning on Saturday night organizing and putting the cover
art to my mp3 library - which I was able to restore from my dead iPod to
my desktop. So I should be set when it arrives in the next couple days.
One great Saturday. Woke up when I wanted to, played WoW all day, ordered my new iPod, found a way to sync my iPod with my primary PC’s iTunes.
Now Andy’s on his way over to hang out and he brings with him a new album by a truly great artist.
Should be fun.
Leading worship tomorrow morning. Kind of concerned about my song selection, we’ll see how it goes.
Sarah is flying into the heart of the storm. Hope she makes it there alive.
I swear to God, I am the secretary from Ferris Bueller. Everytime I
touch a pencil it ends up in my ear. I was typing this morning and I
felt something and I reached up and I had a pen in one ear and a pencil
in the other…
When you don’t know how to recapture your creative gift, I find it best to start with what you know.
Haiku on a Summer’s Night
Home. Very Tired.
Glad it’s a 3 day work week.
In love with Sarah.
I just landed and finished my book. Perfect timing. I have some serious
reflecting to do. You’ll be hearing about this for a while.
On the plane now, lets hope we depart on time. Can’t wait to see my
baby.
I’ve been reading this book that I thought that I would never read,
“Wild at Heart”.
I had previously avoided it because I heard that it contained some very
strong opinions on the roles of men and women and I always tended to be
more egalitarian.
I decided, however, to go ahead and read it all the same. Its been
really good and I’m expecting that it will continue to change my
perception as it already has. More later.
This is it, very ready to go home.
Hanging out at the condo is relaxing, but as of now I’m only interested
in three things: Sarah, WoW and my own bed…not in combination (damn
that would be nice, but…) But those are the three things that I’m sick
for…Sarah-sick, Game-sick, Home-sick.
Lotta fun was had last night. People in California think they’ve seen
fireworks…they have no idea. Most think that bottle rockets are
ariel(sp?) fireworks, ya…right. Lets put it this way, from dusk to
midnight there was no more than thirty seconds of silence or lack of
fire in the sky.
Lotta fun.
Here are some photo’s of our hike. I especially like the one of the
warning art. 4 miles both each way, my legs are killing me. It was
great to get out in the wild though. Prove my worth to myself, get
caught up in my insignificance. You feel very small out there.
