| You Are Ichabod Crane From “Sleepy Hollow.”
You’re a deep thinker - most times logically. You’re a bit of a neat freak and a wuss (hey, you do faint a lot!) but you do have the ability to overcome your fears and come out stronger in the end. And you never lose your head over things. (Gufaw gufaw!) |

free at last! finished my last final today and i’m so glad to be done with this semester.
we’ll see how i did in a week or two.
two days ago i picked up my harmonica and determined that i should learn how to play the blues. i figured, what the heck, it would be fun and not too difficult.
as it turns out, i was right on both accounts.
i found this great website that has a midi file you can download of a blues riff in G, and I just busted along making up little riffs. soooo fun.
anyways, hopefully i’ll gain my confidance and be able to play for someone soon.
now i gotta send my weekly email out to my HS and Jr High leaders. i willed to do it for the past two days, but didn’t make the time. better late than never.

I’m watching “The Joker is Wild”, an old Sinatra movie about a club singer who gets beaten up by the mob.
anyways, i got everything out of the dorm and most of it is in the haven 2.0 (some is still in my car).
man it was awesome having everyone help us move in, thanks a ton to all!

wow, i wish i cared enough to study for this MIS final that i have in 20 minutes, but i just don’t.
anyways. moved into my apartment over the weekend. the bed that i thought would be using as a loft(a bunkbed i have had since i was born practically) turned out to be smaller than i remembered.
bummer.
so…Ikea. i got a new loft bed for the grand ol’ price of $149. (thanks ma and pop).
so after my final i gotta get all the rest of my stuff out of my dorm (except the couch) and move it on down to the apartment which we are naming Greyhaven 2.0

okay, first official post.
i want to tell about this experience i had, kinda weird.
i was walking up the stairs behind my dormitory with my head down, not looking directly into the sun and focusing on not eating it, thinking absent mindedly about something and as i approached the landing at the end of a set of steps, i was fully convinced that i had reached the final landing and was done with the stairs. but about one second after that i saw that i still had a whole other set of stairs to go up. this realization occured in an instant with a explosion of emotions - i felt cheated, suprised, confused, bummed, etc.
it wasnt that i minded going another flight. it was just very odd. i had this feeling that i had completed it and then the shock that i still had more to go…
i figured hell would be having that panicked realization forever. when i made that comment to my friend matt, he said that for andy… having another set of stairs is hell.
he missed my point…but oh well

well, here’s the thing.
i started this particular blog as part of a project for a class I’m in called Topics in Information Systems.
The point was to make a blog and host it from the server i was setting up as part of a project.
Well…as it turns out, Biola is t3h friggen gay. they only have 6 IP’s which can be accessed directly from “outside the bubble”, and they are all taken up.
as such, i can not use my FTP to host blogger blogs.
that nonesense aside…i wanted to have an online journal/blog just to express my…stuff. so enjoy.
